November 29, 2011 - Mike Weeks has announced a partnership with Tim Kyle for the 2012 race season. The pair will team up to compete in the area's super late model races as well as some of the top steelhead action.

Weeks and Kyle have been talking about teaming up over the last couple of weeks. The pair decided to combine their efforts and form one team for 2012. The team will use cars and engines from Weeks' shop in many of the big super late model races and use cars and enginers from Kyle's shop in some select super late model races as well as the area's top steelhead and crate race competition.

"This is the most excited I have been about racing in about 5 years," Weeks stated. "Combining our efforts will make us more competitive next year and that is what has me so excited. Tim and Angie Kyle are two of the nicest people you would ever meet in racing. Working with people like that can only get you excited about what's to come."

The team is already preparing for their first effort when they compete in the annual Ice Bowl at Talladega Short Track on January 7-8. Additional races will be announced shortly after the Ice Bowl.
